im back!
today was ORA WALK-A-JOGATHON!
it was coooooler than i expected it to be!
i thought it was gonna be all boring with old people walking around the school.
but NO!
there were sooooo many students tooo!
from RJC, RGS n RI.
other ppl also have la, not only from the R-family.
lol.
anyway. i thought the whole thing was going to be disastrous n embarrassing.
cos mrs chor made us set up a stall.
and she wanted us to sell..
sell...
*gulps*
batteries.
GP batteries to be exact.
im pretty sure the first thing you'd think is "who the heck buys batteries at a fair?"
but hey, we sold quite a lot okaaay.
thanks to my clever marketing ways.
hahah.
but i do really think dat i did help a lot in selling the batteries.
there were quite afew negotiations here and there.
it was alittle bit frustration but when you go up with the likes of me,
it aint gonna end up with us having to buy their stuff.
there were 2 stalls who wanted to sell us stuff.
roses. (like i'd have anyone to give it to)
and drinks. (i wasnt thirsty n by the looks of the number of drinks they still had, no one bought from them. and i could tell why.)
also, i saw victoria and selene!!!
if you didnt know, theyre both in RGS.
yea. that was cool. both looked pretty much the same.
victoria were helping her friends to sell badges for their project or sth.
we did negotiate with them.
their badges were $2 each.
and being the nice friend i am, and how close i was to vicky during p6,
i helped her buy 5 la.
with the help of my other frens, duh.
then they had to buy one pair of our batteries.
which cost $11.20.
yea i know its EX bt its really worth it.
"but its really worth it. you buy one of these, we'll give you a free charger. and whats more, you can recharge the batteries up to 1000 times. that's like buying 1000 batteries for the price of $11.20! and like i said, you get a free chrger, which costs $9 outside. all the batteries are already discounted! so you wont find such prices outsied! its really worth it!"
and i repeated that to all the people who were considering to buy!
haha so you can imagine hw desperate i was!
but all in all, it was super fun.
so many people, so many stalls.
but most of all selling the batteries was quite an experience!
