his name is Jack.
at the age of nine, he experienced something that would stay with him till today.
he understood the meaning of hatred.
of loneliness.
of confusion.
this made him think that the world was cruel.
no one cared.
somehow, this was true.
he'd cry at least once a year to let go of all that he was feeling.
every tear he dropped was a reflection that he didn't really have any friends.
but then.
the fact that he had his family would conveniently dry away his tears.
still.
he drowned himself in guilt.
for he did have a secret like any other person in this world.
he hated himself.
nevertheless.
he found a reason to live.
live and feel good about it.
coz for all he knew.
being around the people that he was with wasn't what he so much desired.
he wanted a friend.
not too self-absorbed.
not too secretive.
one who wouldn't make him worry.
whether or not he would leave for someone else.
he needed somebody to understand him.
he didn't need someone who was similar to him.
coz he knows what it feels like.
it sucks.
big time.
now Jack is still alone.
but he remembers that there were those few people.
he really trusted.
but they're not able to be there to support him always.
and he knew he could turn to them for help.
he's confused.
and throughout his life.
he realized that people don't really care or understand him.
that's why he always think of giving up on hope.

The Meaning:
Resentment is an emotion of anger felt as a result of a real or imagined wrong done. Etymologically from "ressentir", French re-, intensive prefix, and sentir "to feel"; from the latin "sentire".
